Paolo Barichella is born in Milan (Italy) in 1969. Since he graduated in Industrial Design has always worked in product design, communication strategies and Internet. During its occupation, Paolo Barichella has developed and consolidated experience in the food technology chain and its processes in combination with design, sensory and engineering.
Thanks to his studies and research in the field of food design, today he’s one of the most appreciate international opinion leader in this argument, called in various events and projects to give contribution and experience about design of the food.

The way to make and drink coffee in Italy has changed considerably over the past 5 years, thanks to the creativity of bartenders from around the world and the advent of the coffee pod machines. Their success is largely due to the possibility to prepare quickly and easily coffee that always tastes good. Food-Designer Paolo Barichella started from analyzing this change to develop this revolutionary idea that allows anyone to prepare at home the stratified coffee created by the greatest chefs and bartenders, just using the kit and the practical recipes enclosed in the book.
